Went to visit my favorite place this weekend, The New England Aquarium!

I got to touch a shark for the first time, or more like forced to touch a shark by my boyfriend before we moved on to the rest of the exhibits.  Although it is exciting to touch a shark…it will probabaly never happen again, because it was way to slimy. 

It was all worth it though, because I got to see Mertle the Turtle, who, after brunching on lettuce, settled in into the reef for an afternoon slumber. 

Also the green eels came out for a little, even though they normally come out only at night.  Speaking of slimy, we found out that the green eels aren’t even really lime green in color, they are actually brown with a lime green slime coating over its body.
