The tallest point in Malden, Wait’s Mount is a historic park, formerly an air camp in World War I and held artillery batteries in World War II. Today, the remains of the camp, including pipes and former house foundations can be seen at the top, along with a stunning view of the Boston skyline. The newly
renovated park includes a walking trail, swing-set, basketball court and benches for pure relaxation, and it’s only a little hike!
