Life As We Know It

Life as we know it at Smolak Farms at 315 S. Bradford Street in North Andover, Massacchusetts 01845.

I am going to make this short, sweet and as simple as can be, wrote it over too many times to count, but every time I seem to grace over the fact– that Smolak Farms is the best place on planet Earth!

Seriously, this is no exaggeration Smolak Farm in North Andover is the bee’s knees; from harvest festivals, antique car shows and other weekly events to the quaint farm stand (with delicious apple cider donuts) and pick your own Strawberries, Tart-Cherries, Raspberries, Blueberries, Apples, Peaches and Plums, this farm has it all.

They have so much to offer; even a small animal farm with baby deer, goats, pigs, ducks, roosters and of course peacocks!  Check out their website, they keep it well updated and host events that change week to week.  The best part about Smolak (besides the PYO fields) is their magical greenhouse with a beautiful selection of potted plants.  In the winter season, they allow PYO christmas trees, and offer a great selection at an affordable price.

Even if you don’t have a penny in your pocket to spend it’s a great place to park (for free) and take a walk down the rural avenue; even bring a picnic to eat on the fields, there is plenty of tables in the summertime.  It is a relatively easy drive, you will know once you arrive, because of the open farmland that comes into view with a quaint farmhouse and small pond in the center, an unforgettable vision!

  1. It’s a great thing to find that one special spot that really appeals to you! 🙂 I love the iridescence of the peacock’s magnificent breast. Peacock Blue is a colour you don’t easily forget!

    love.
