Talk about an ideal place to live.  Castle in the Clouds was the dream estate of Tom and Olive Plant in the early 1900’s, and it is my dream castle now in the year 2017.  There is certainly a sense of timelessness about this great estate.   Built with modern appliances, Castle in the Clouds, otherwise known as Lucknow, is equipped with stables, garages, a central vacuums system and circular showers.  With its fair share of spectacular views, Castle in the Clouds will amaze any eager visitor.

P.s. Take the free trolly up if you are not afraid of heights.  There is a three-to-four minute trail that will lead you up to the castle once you park below in the dirt lot.  Basically, you pay at the entrance, drive up a two-mile narrow road, park, and either walk or take the trolly to the top.

Also, there is twenty-eight miles of hiking trails around the castle.
