It was free open house day on Saturday, May 19th at the Trustees Historic Homes and Gardens. These are historic sites that generally charge admission during their open season, a few of which are open, free to the public a few times a year.

One of my favorite places to visit every year is the Crane Estate, or Castle on the Hill. It was a rainy day, but some of the best pictures are taken in the rain. Still in love with this great house and the beach below!
